AC Repair in San Marcos & Central Texas

Cooling problems get isolated, measured, and explained before any part is quoted. Our AC repair process starts with static pressure, temperature split, superheat and subcooling — not with a guess.

Symptoms we diagnose every week

Warm air from vents, short cycling, ice on the line set, tripping breakers, high humidity, weak airflow, water at the air handler, and system-off no-cool calls all trace back to a small set of root causes: airflow restrictions, refrigerant charge, electrical faults, or control problems.

We separate symptoms from causes. A frozen coil is a symptom; the cause is usually low airflow or low charge, and the fix depends on which one — measured, not guessed.

How our diagnostic visit works

Every repair call begins with a documented workup: static pressure across the coil and filter, supply/return temperatures, blower amp draw, capacitor microfarads, contactor condition, refrigerant pressures with superheat and subcooling, and a visual of the condensate path.

You receive a written summary of what was measured, what failed, what options exist, and pricing for each. No verbal-only estimates.

Repair, replace, or repair-to-replace

When a compressor, coil, or metering device fails on an older system, we lay out honest math: repair cost, expected remaining life, efficiency loss, and refrigerant considerations (R-410A phase-down, R-32 availability). You choose.
